FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I try to keep pricing fair and straightforward. Smaller jobs like troubleshooting or installing outlets, switches, or lighting are usually handled with a service call and hourly rate. Larger projects such as panel upgrades, EV chargers, or new circuits are typically quoted as a flat price after I see the job. Every home and situation is a little different, so I prefer to understand exactly what the customer needs before giving a price. My goal is always to be transparent about costs and avoid surprises.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First I talk with the customer to understand what they’re looking to have done and gather any details that might help. Sometimes photos or a quick phone call can clarify a lot. From there we schedule a time to come out, assess the work, and provide a clear plan and estimate if needed. Once everything is agreed on, I complete the work safely, cleanly, and up to code. I also make sure to explain what was done so the homeowner feels comfortable with the finished work.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a licensed master electrician and have completed the required apprenticeship training and schooling along with 8+ years of hands-on field experience. Electrical work requires a strong understanding of the National Electrical Code and safe installation practices, and I stay current with code updates and best practices to ensure all work is done safely and properly.
