Do not use this company! They are the worst contractors you could possibly hire. I was hired to come in behind this so called business to clean up after a job they did and as I was cleaning the house I noticed there was chunks out of the freshly painted walls through the entire house. The frame on the kitchen cabinets would just fall apart when we wiped them down. Glue all over the brand new flooring. The bathrooms were leaking and still do the poor family cant even keep the water to their home turned on because there are leaks in every bathroom under the sinks the toilets. They forced a bathtub to fit in place to the point it broke the wall behind it. Come to find out the kid that runs the business is not even licensed or bonded. He has been sued for his negligence and faulty construction work in the past. He is not even allowed to do most of the work he has done because of a court order so the business is in his step dad's name who allows him to work under his license. This company is nothing but a cover up to con people out of thousands of dollars for 1/8 of a star on the quality of work they claim to perform.DO NOT TRUST THESE GUYS TO WORK IN YOUR HOME OR EVEN TRUST THEM IN YOUR HOME. UNLESS YOU PREFER TO HAVE YOUR HOME DAMAGED FURTHER AND EVERYTHING YOU BOUGHT TO PUT IN YOUR HOME DAMAGED. I HAVE BEEN DOING POST CONSTRUCTION CLEAN UP FOR 14 YEARS AND I HAVE NEVER SEEN A CONTRACTOR THIS HORRIBLE.

I cant thank Trevor enough for going above and beyond during an incredibly stressful situation. From the moment I contacted him, he was professional, responsive, and genuinely compassionate about the health and safety concerns I was facing in my apartment.He showed up on time, brought high-grade moisture and thermal imaging equipment, and conducted a thorough inspection. He didnt just gloss over anything, he took his time to explain what he was seeing, what it meant, and what steps needed to be taken to properly fix the issues. He even went to the neighbors to see if there was a possible leak, and also went to the front office with me.Trevors expertise and willingness to communicate on my behalf made me feel supported and informed. I truly felt like I had someone in my corner. I would highly recommend Trevor and his team to anyone dealing with mold, moisture, or restoration issues. RUN AWAY!!! FAR, FAR AWAY!! Hendershot Construction should be held criminally liable. They took our TWENTY-NINE THOUSAND DOLLAR deposit for drywall and building permits and have disappeared.*I have posted this on every site I could find to let as many people know about our nightmare with Hendershot Construction, and also to let everyone know that according to the ROC they have 2 open (and one closed) legal actions against them. We are the 3rd.*We hired Hendershot Construction to do our rebuild after extensive water damage took our entire house down to it's studs. Everything was good in the beginning. Trevor knew all of the right words to say. He seemed knowledgeable and competent. We had had multiple walk-throughs and face to face time, he even brought his daughter to one. He knew how hard we had been, and still are, fighting Allstate, and he was super reassuringthat he had dealt with this all before. We wired him a deposit of just under $29,000 for drywall and permits in October 2025.In between giving them our deposit for the rebuild and the rebuild actually starting, we had a roof leak. We called and asked Trevor to bring out a couple of fans and a tarp. The pictures attached (if the review allows) show how they handled that. It was a total mess. It was billowing off the house. And for good measure, it did not even cover the problem area of the roof.They left this tarp like this for weeks, despite multiple requests and demands to have it cleaned up. They also attached the tarp to our house with 1/2" lag bolts all the way through our eves. When I confronted them on why they put such large holes into our eves, the response was and I quote "that is how it has to be done. There is no other way to attach a tarp to the house." These holes have never been repaired.On top of the shoddy work and the holes that were never patched or painted, they submitted us an invoice of over $3,000 for equipment and treatments never provided. When we questioned them on the invoice, Trevor told us that it wasn't meant for us to pay, but for us to submit to insurance. This is straight up fraud and we fired them immediately. Trevor said that he understood.We were told by Trevor that we would have our refund by the end of the week. No refund came. The next week he ghosted us until we called him from a different number. He answered on the first ring. Again, he said he would get the refund processed. I did not believe him, nor did he follow through. We have not heard one thing from Trevor since. He did not even respond to our attorney's demand letter.We called the city to figure out what to do with our permits Trevor said they had drawn; they informed us there were never any permits pulled. Our rebuild does not even require permits.Our drywall was supposed be delivered the day after we fired them. I have since learned that no drywall was ever ordered.Hendershot Construction has TWENTY-NINE THOUSAND DOLLARS of ours that they refuse to return. They are frauds and criminals. We have hired an attorney and are actively perusing full legal action against them. BE WARNED!!!
