Terrible management! Originally they were nice and responded quickly to our basement getting flooded. They came out right away to mitigate the issue and repair the basement. However, during the repair process they hired a subcontractor to replace our carpet, but the subcontractor forgot to place our carpet order and took several weeks to receive the order. I had to constantly ask what the status is to ultimately find out the carpet order wasnt placed. I was always told I would receive a call or an update from someone but never received anything. My wife and I wanted to update our fireplace and wanted to re-tile around the fireplace so we needed to remove some drywall and asked if they can at least remove the drywall or receive some sort of discount for the very long delay of the carpet installation. Instead of trying to keep his client happy he didnt offer anything and rejected any proposals because it wasnt his fault. I understand there can be delays during projects but I never received any updates and was very patient about everything so to keep his client happy felt they couldve done something. And on the final day when they were supposed to install my tv mount in the basement I gave specific orders but they installed the mount too low and I asked him to install it higher. But because hell be late to his next appointment he refused to reinstall it correctly which wouldve only taken maximum thirty mins and due to timing issue had to wait another three weeks for a tv mount to be installed correctly. He argued that hes doing this mount installation as an extra when in the beginning he said hell do it once everythings done. Because the project has been completed he wanted to just move on to the next client instead of maintaining a good relationship with his clients and making his clients happy. I was even accommodating to him and his workers to leave their equipment at my house and even allowed them to come at night to pick up trash or whatever they needed. I wont go with this company to fix anything for me again and wouldnt recommend them to anyone unless you want a poorly managed company to work on your house!

Thank you for your nice review. But unfortunately we are not offering free service as you ask to do your drywall for free. Hope your review was based on logic and fairly reviewing

UPDATE: Thanks for your response however I still have not received any email communications with invoice details so I am unable to get in touch.--I would not recommend Prime Home Tech. They were recommended to be by a previous contractor so I decided to trust them but my experience is very similar to the other 1-star review on this profile. The positive review on their profile is from someone in California so I do not think it is legitimate.I reached out to this company for water-repair damage from a leaking vertical air handler. The impacted space was objectively small (3x7ft MAX) in the basement. I reached out to them AFTER resolving the leak and fixing the water leak source. Here are the issues I faced that result in this negative review:- They are only responsive during the sales phase. I heard from my contact (Mohammad) consistently when he was first following up on my call, scheduling the initial inspection, and closing the deal. There was no paperwork and I still havent seen an invoice or receipt. As soon as he received payment, they became slow and busy.- Prices are inflated. He claimed on the phone the impacted area was 50 sqft. It was NOT. I believed it because I was not physically present at the inspection (again, I trusted him because he was a referral). I believed this was true because maybe the water damage had expanded to deeper in the area and I wanted to ensure there was no mold growth. But when I saw the area they ACTUALLY serviced, I knew this was a lie.- They tried to get me to pay the amount in full before any work was even done. I am so glad I insisted on only paying a deposit and the full payment AFTER the service was done.- They told me they would charge for emergency repair since it was a water damage case. But the situation had been contained and after charging me emergency pricing and getting that payment, they two 4 days to complete the work. There were two appointments: one for remediation and one for repair. It took 4 days to get them in for remaining work. No urgency even though they charged me the emergency pricing.- After charging me $1,350 for the full, all-in emergency repair work for 50 sqft and telling me this is all in pricing, see attached for how they left the carpet (stained from the water damage). When I asked him about it, he said carpet cleaning is separate. Apparently all in does not include the carpet. ???- I have asked them to give me a detailed, itemized invoice for almost 2 weeks now. He claims it was emailed to me, it was not. I triple checked, its been 12 days. The price wouldnt have been an issue if they were honest, communicative, and trustworthy. But this was truly a ripoff.I have worked with dozens of contractors over the years to manage my properties. This is the first time I am leaving such a negative review. I will also be letting the person who referred me know his referral sucked. Please save your money and go to ANYONE else. This company is not trustworthy.

Sana, I’m very sorry your experience fell far short of our standards and I appreciate you taking the time to detail these problems. We clearly failed on communication, transparent pricing, timeliness, and follow-through on the carpet and paperwork. I will have a fully itemized invoice emailed to you within 24 hours and I am escalating this to our operations manager for immediate review. We will also arrange complimentary professional carpet cleaning or discuss a fair adjustment; please reply to the email you used or call the office number on your estimate so we can resolve this promptly.

Mohammed was quick to give me a free detailed quote and acted quickly to remove the mold from my basement. Very professional and gave me a fair price. 10/10 would recommend.
