Five STAR. A+++++. The go to appliance repair expert. Omar is The go to repair person. More on my situation and story.On Easter Sunday my barely 4 year old Kitchen Aid model KDTM354DSS5 started leaking into my lower level basement. Fortunately the basement area is still unfinished. Glad at least I found the source of the water leak.On Sunday I called a few appliance places in northern Virginia. I knew nobody was open. Especially on Sunday Easter. I just wanted to leave a message for Monday and see if I could get someone out immediately.A few minutes after leaving a message on Sunday with DYAB Appliance Service, I received a call from Omar himself. Wow! He asked me a few questions about my situation, and diagnosed my problem over the phone. Apparently water was leaning from my diverter. Omar recommended replacing the entire pump and motor assembly; comes in a kit. He actually placed the order for my part on Sunday. He said he would install it as soon as the part came in. Wow! Can you imagine trying to get Bray & Scarf, Lowes, Home Depot, and other appliance stores on any day. I love it. Good old fashion customer service and expertise. So nice to find someone who takes pride in his business and brand.Took only a few days for my pump and motor kit to show up for my dishwasher. I was bit nervous with pandemic supply chain issues for parts. Omar immediately called me when my part showed up, and said he would like to come over in 30 minutes.Upon arriving at my home, Omar headed for my kitchen. After verifying the source of leak, he removed the entire old assembly and installed the new kit. He has done this so many times, he didn't even have to pull the dishwasher out. Now I have a dishwasher which is good as new. All the key components were replaced. Hopefully I can get 4 more years out of it.Thank goodness for DYAB appliance and experts still left like Omar at. Thank you Omar. I highly recommend your business. I am going to stick your business card somewhere on my appliance door for next time. Thank you.

My experience started with the initial call and chatted with the gentleman about my issue. My big concern was paying the diagnostic fee only to be too much when getting a new dryer was more cost effect. He was very understanding and got me over to Omar and he explained, in detail, the few issues it could be and price range. It was full disclosure and made for an easy decision. I asked another company and their answer was no where near this easy. Omar was able to make it out within about 20 minutes and determined exactly my issue and fixed it in a reasonable time. Very accommodating and pleasant to work with and would HIGHLY recommend them for appliance repairs. I will be using them again
