Let me tell you about Kris and Economy Home Repair. I had the most amazing experience working with this company this past summer. I was looking for the exterior siding of my house to be replaced and repainted ~ 2000 sq. ft job. Kris contacted me within minutes of messaging him on thumbtack. We easily made an appointment for Kris to come to the house and check out the scope of work. Kris came with his son, Ryan, who is training to become a foreman with the family company. Kris was very thorough as we went along, pointing things out for me to know (sometimes unrelated to the job but he thought I should know as a first time home owner) and his plan. I quickly received his estimate (as well as 2 other estimates) for the job, and while his was the highest, I could tell that the quality of work he would do would be worth the extra cost. When I say quality, I mean it. They replaced, sanded, sealed all the bad wood. Kris went around the whole property with a screwdriver testing the siding and trim. They primered the BACK of the new siding to help resist rotting. They removed, painted and reinstalled all gutters and replaced some as needed. AND THEY HAND PAINTED THE ENTIRE HOUSE. No billowing sheets of plastic on everything, no overspray on the fence, sidewalk etc. And when Kris realized the job was going to take longer than expected, he communicated with me and didn't cut corners to increase his profit margin. He had a small crew, and the same wonderful guys showed up everyday. And they seemed happy to come to work! It was very hot for a few days and Kris let me know that he would cut the day short so his workers didn't have to work in the extreme heat! It's these things that make a good company a great company. And they were so respectful of our house and space, cleaning up at the end of every day, being mindful of where they put tools and parked cars, etc. I could go on and on. I cannot wait to work with Kris again, and I will definitely be hiring him again to interior paint and do drywall in the spring. Thank you Economy Home Repair!!

What a pleasure it was working with Economy Home Repair for my concrete needs! Kris, Tugo and team painted the exterior of our home, poured concrete around the home to fill the vegetation against the house, replaced fence posts screwed into the stucco and replaced them with metal posts cemented in the ground, made a fence, patched old stucco, prepped the house for elastomeric, painted the trim with immense detail, and painted the floors around the perimeter. I am so pleased with the outcome of the craftsmanship and attention to detail. Kris and his team put an amazing amount of effort into making my home beautiful. To sum it up Kris and his Team did an outstanding job. We had a tight time frame to get our job done and Kris made sure it would happen. They installed shingle siding, completed 3 decks, a trellis, down spouts, some plumbing and electrical work. Kris did everything requested plus. I have worked with many contractors and would not hesitate to hire Kris again. We plan on getting a quote from Kris for remodeling our kitchen, master bathroom and living room. I can't thank you and your Team for doing such a great job. You guys are the BEST!!!

Watching my dad build the most beautiful houses in Marin. Fell in love with doing hard work and seeing the results.
