Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: Hi I’m Stephanie, I am a disabled U. S. Veteran and animal enthusiast. I am currently working on my dog and cat training certifications through Animal Behavior College and I am offering dog training services both in person and remote. Remote services will be held via video chat and can be more convenient for those with tight schedules. My training style focuses on strengthening the owner/pet bond with positive reinforcement while building trust. I individualize each clients training regimen to the owners specific needs and concerns while also considering breed specific instincts and strengths. Experience I have cared for animals since I was about 6 years old. When I was a child we had many animals from domestic pets, farm animals, and at one point we even rescued a great horned owl that we called poppy. My duties over the years have included dog training, cleaning kennels, helping deliver c-section puppies, fed and watered the animals, administered vaccinations and medications to cats and dogs, gave walks, cared for the cats and kittens and provided socialization to both. I've also fostered and socialized orphaned/feral kittens for over 10 years. I currently have small dogs and cats of my own and they get along with other animals very well. I've also been known to rescue and pet sit birds, bunnies, amphibians, you name it.

Stephanie has been amazing, she is very knowledgeable on animal behavior and has helped our pups so much. When we started, we couldn’t have our two dogs in the same room without a fight starting. After working with Stephanie, both dogs are getting along great and we don’t have to worry about them being around each other anymore

Stephanie was great with my doggies. I could tell she really loves animals and that was reflected in her teaching style and the way she interacted with my dogs. She uses a lot of positive reinforcement which I really liked. Would definitely recommend.

Stephanie has done dog sitting and house sitting for me and my elderly mother for over a year now. We love her, and feel very secure leaving our animals and our homes under her care. She’s always the first person we call when we need someone.

Stephanie is amazing with our special behavior needs dog. Our Doggo fell in love with Stephanie and took to her immediately. We always receive several pictures and texts to let us know how our fur baby is doing when we are away. 100% recommend if you are looking for a care giver for your doggos

Stephanie was an absolute dream. Punctual, friendly, warm, and professional. She came over to watch my puppy and was very affectionate and playful with the little one. My puppy took her right away and by the end of the day they were snuggling on the couch. I would highly recommend her to other people. I can tell that she truly loves animals.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have worked with animals for over 30 years independently, as well as at the Placer SPCA socializing feral and semi-feral kittens, and with different dog breeders. I am currently doing my externship to become a certified dog trainer and have completed my pet CPR and first aid course. I am also enrolled in a cat training certification course, as well as, animal nutrition, pet massage, and training shelter dogs. I have also been trained to teach basic puppy obedience.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

I have worked with animals since I was a young child. I have always had animals in my life and feel that I understand them better than people.
