Hi, I’m Stephanie!
I’m a disabled Veteran, certified animal trainer, and lifelong animal enthusiast offering dog training, cat training, pet sitting, and house sitting. I specialize in positive-reinforcement training and helping pets and their people build calmer, happier relationships.
One of my specialties is socializing dogs and cats to live together safely and harmoniously. Whether you’re introducing a new dog or cat into your home or dealing with chasing, fear, overexcitement, or tension between pets, I can help you create a more peaceful multi-pet household.
An important part of my training is also educating pet parents about animal psychology and behavior. I believe training is much more effective when you understand why your pet behaves the way they do—not just how to correct the behavior. I help owners recognize what their pets are communicating, understand what may be driving unwanted behaviors, and learn how their own responses can influence their pet.
I also help identify and correct common issues pet parents run into while training, such as inconsistent cues, timing of rewards, accidentally reinforcing unwanted behaviors, unrealistic expectations, or difficulty communicating clearly with their pet. My goal isn't simply to train your pet—it's to give you the knowledge and skills to continue that training confidently on your own.
I offer help with puppy training, basic obedience, socialization, behavior modification, manners, and common dog and cat behavior concerns. My approach is patient and individualized. I consider your pet’s personality, environment, history, and behavior rather than using a one-size-fits-all training method.
I’m a one-person business, so you and your pets always receive my personal attention. I’m certified through Animal Behavior College in Dog Training, Cat Training, Pet CPR and First Aid, Pet Massage, and Pet Nutrition, and I bring many years of hands-on volunteer experience working with animals.
If you’re looking for a patient, knowledgeable professional who can help you understand your pet, communicate more effectively, and build a stronger relationship, I’d love to help you and your pets work together and thrive.
