My wife and I were researching termite treatment options and were trying to get some quotes to have our home treated. Andrew from Precision Environmental reached out to me on Thumbtack and informed me of their nontoxic ThermaPure treatment. He sent me some information on the process and its efficacy, assuring me that it comes with the same warranty as fumigation. He offered to come out to my home in Ventura to discuss the process in detail. We decided to go forward and were able to quickly complete the contract via email, allowing us to schedule the work to be done at a convenient date of our choice. The workers arrived about an hour early to set up - which was fine with us since it meant we would be able to get back into the house earlier as well. They were all very friendly and professional as we walked around the outside of the house to note some of the best options for making sure our plants and rain gutters would be safe. Since they needed to keep the house at a high temperature for several hours, we decided to make a fun day out of it. We spent the day hiking and swimming at the beach until they called us to say they were done with the treatment ahead of schedule. Of course, the house was pretty hot for a few hours after they left but it cooled down by the time we went to bed. It was very nice to know that the heat treatment not only took care of the termites and other pests, but also any mold that may have been in our home. The company sent some workers out a few days later to help me put a section of rain gutter back up. They even sent me a check to reimburse us for some ceramic pots that were accidentally knocked over as well as the cost of having a refrigerator technician come out to adjust our refrigerator. Overall, I am very pleased that we happened to have found Precision Environmental and I hope to see more and more people using their services instead of using chemical fumigation!

The end product came out very nicely. Inspector said it the scraping of the acoustic was smoother than most. And because of the actual work result I am giving them a 4. Otherwise I would have to give them a 3 for the logistical issues we had with them. Even though we had given them ample notice of the job they delayed in getting the paper work done. Then they failed to do their due diligence in getting the city permit, and we had to do it for them at the nth hour because if we hadn't the project would have been delayed. Lastly their pricing they gave us was good, but we had another bid come in even lower after we had signed the contract.

Thank you for the review Fabia. I am glad the crew did a great job on the ceiling scrape. I apologies for the misunderstanding about the City permit and take full responsibility for that. In all my years of doing this type of work; this is the first time I have had to pull a city permit to scrape an acoustic ceiling, it's not an excuse and I should have looked into when you asked. Given the fact that people ultimately decide to hire us based on pricing and review, I would like to point out that although there were issues I did my best to make them right in a timely manner including provide a discount for the trouble. Also I know you had to take time out of your day to go to the City office to inquire about the permit but I also went down there that day and worked everything out with the City and paid for the permit and spoke with your Husband Greg on the phone and we worked out the details of the discount. I take a lot pride in my Customer service and always try to think of how it would be if I were in the Customer's shoes and I know I would have been upset a few times in the situation as well but at the end of the day please know that I did what I could to correct the mistakes as they happened as fast and as fair as I could. Thank you for the review and the work.

I called out Precision to do asbestos remediation. Andrew came out and let us know that there may be other things of concern in the home. We immediately got them tested. Luckily they came back negative, but that attention to details from Andrew meant a lot. He was looking out for the safety and wellbeing of not only the people living in the home but around the environment as well. The scheduling and process was super easy and straight forward! Not to mention very cost effective! On the day of the remediation, the guys were there on time, dressed professionally, and even moved the refrigerator out of the area they were working in. It took about 3 hours I think, but when they left they left the place the way they found it. I was constantly updated and communicated with which was awesome. One last thing to note: They had an opening in scheduling, and got me in 3 days early!! Superior work, customer service and all around amazing people.

We can offer some standard pricing but most project will fluctuate for a multitude of reasons.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First impression are always important. I like to ask question to understand what exactly they need as well as find out what type of knowledge they have on the work they are requesting, that way I can explain what we are planing to do to complete there project.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 12 years of experience in the environmental industry, ranging from Asbestos, Lead & Mold abatement to full scale hazardous waste cleanups.
