FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Yes, but it depends on the project. Typically, I charge $40/hour for design services. Flat rates for projects are based on the requester's budget or the estimated number of hours needed to complete a project. I try to be flexible with customers' budgets and consider negotiating pricing.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
While my process is unique to each project I undertake, what stays the same is efficiency, professionalism, and a satisfaction-guaranteed attitude. Once we are in contact, I'll want to pick your brain to get to know you and your project while striving to envision your ideas and how best to emulate them. I believe that communication is key in all aspects in life, so you and I will have a strong working relationship to make sure we are both on the same page.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in post-modern literature and creative writing from the University of California at Santa Cruz and have conducted post-graduate work with UC Berkeley. As a publishing professional, I have a decade of hands-on experience and hundreds of projects to attest to my skills and aptitude as a graphic designer, as well as a substantial portfolio to boot. I have worked professionally as a graphic designer in the publishing, advertising, and tech worlds for the last five years.
