My son genuinely looks forward to his drum lessons every week! Sam is not only incredibly knowledgeable and skilled as a drum teacher, but he’s also very patient and encouraging. He makes a real effort to connect with my son by incorporating his interests, like baseball and basketball, into the lessons—drawing parallels between sports and drumming in a way that keeps things fun and relatable.

Sam is a high energy professional who immediately clocks his students’ next steps for optimal progression. In every lesson, from the time I arrive to the time I leave, Sam has me moving nonstop through technique correction drills, see monkey do monkey follow alongs, real practice on a drum set with an expert eye at adjustments, and an overview of music theory and practice exercises that let me train on my own. I immediately saw a difference in my drumming and am extremely motivated to do my homework to get the most out of each lesson.

Sams passion for music and teaching make him an excellent music tutor for kids. He gives them the proper foundation for them to learn to read music opening the door for them to learn almost any instrument
