- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Flower and floral supply prices are based on our current price list. We only offer flowers and supplies in bulk (in most cases multiples of 5 or 10). Group trainings are offered for groups of up to 5 people. The number of hours/ training is determined based on number of arrangements and level of expertise.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We will setup an initial consultation (free of charge) to discuss your floral designs, ideas, colors and flowers and I will provide suggestions and recommendations for your designs and flower selection. You can then go ahead and order bulk flowers and floral supplies and we will deliver the flowers to you 2-3 days before your event. To take the stress out of the execution, I'm offering private and group trainings with you and your assistants, which will give you invaluable insights into floral design techniques, tips and tricks around handling and care. Based on the training focus, we will create prototypes of your arrangements. The training should be scheduled around 4-6 weeks before your event.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I majored in Floristry from City College of San Francisco in 2009. My specialty is Japanese and European floral design. In 2014, I received an Ikebana teaching credential from the Sogetsu school in Tokyo, Japan.
