$250-$300 for Desktop Appraisals (when an in-person inspection is not needed) $300-$600 for Full Appraisal with in-person Inspection, Floor-plan Sketch and Photos (price range depending on distance, complexity) I provide appraisal services (Single Family Residence, Condos, 2-4 Units, Vacant Land, Rent Schedules, Floorplan Sketches) for lenders and private clients. Coverage Area: Placer, Sacramento, Nevada, El Dorado, Yolo, Yuba, Sutter, Amador, Colusa, Solano, Calaveras and San Joaquin counties. I have been appraising in these areas for 9+ years and have completed 5,000+ appraisals. We regularly complete appraisals for the following purposes: Divorce Settlement, Preparing to Buy or Sell, Estate Settlement (Probate), Eliminating PMI, Bankruptcy, Bail Bonds, Property Tax Assessment Appeal, Construction Defects, Financing, Investment Analysis, Refinancing, HELOC, Dispute Resolution, Litigation Support, REO Properties, Portfolio Management and Appraisal Review. I had another great experience with Peiffer Appraisals. I have a duplex in Folsom that I needed to raise the rents on. I was unsure of what the market rents for the area were. David provided me with an excellent market rental survey that allowed me to justify raising my rents. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My fee for private appraisals ranges from $300-$600 depending on complexity (GLA, lot size, distance). I can provide a fee quote quickly, if you ever have a property you are curious about. Desktop Appraisals (without an in person inspection) and Land Appraisals starting at $250.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
-Meet/Contact the client -Identify the purpose of the appraisal -Schedule the Appraisal Inspection or date the Desktop Appraisal will be completed -Show up on time and complete the appraisal inspection -Email appraisal to the client same day as scheduled
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Bachelors Degree in Economics from CSUS. Associates Degree in Business from Folsom Lake College. Trained under two appraisers for 1 year in 2015. 50+ hours of Continuing Education every four years and a 7 hour USPAP course every two years.
