James is the best. I had an emergency electrical problem in the hot summer evening that forbade us using the AC. Luckily, James was able to come immediately to fix the problem with very reasonable price for emergency and after hour service. I also had another problem with wiring. Since he was able to fix it quicker and he thought, he charged me less from the price that he quoted. He’s really honest and professional. I recommend him for any electrical jobs. A++ service.

James is a highly competent electrician. He devised solutions for several intricate electrical problems in our old SF house, and saw to it that each task was completed to perfection. James installed 3 ceiling fans and a couple of recessed lights in rooms that did not have any overhead lighting/wiring. He showed up on time, did a great job and left everything tidied up. I'll definitely use James again for any future electrical needs.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The way I have my pricing set up is. 150.00 minimum and 75.00 an hour. Or I will also bid the job for a flat rate. I also will beat anyone's price, hands down.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our goal is always to make sure the customer is happy. We are able to correspond via Thumbtack, text message or phone. Whatever is easiest for the customer. I usually touch base via phone call or text. Then email a estimate after speaking with the customer about details of job.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've been in the industry for almost 18 years. I specialize in troubleshooting electrical. And retrofitting lighting, such as recessed can lights. Wall sconce lights and parking lot lights.
