Andy is the best handyman I have seen. He is responsible, perfection-driven, and truly reliable. My work of window repair is quite challenging, requiring him to work from both inside and outside of the house at the height of 2nd floor for extended hours. We found out during the repair that our window frame had been eaten by termites and was way more fragile than we thought. For these unexpected problems, Andy replaced all the frames and addressed every single detail without charging us extra. The completion of the work is beyond expectation and the window is like new. Andy has my highest degree of recommendation for anyone to hire him.

I submitted a request on Thumbtack to find someone who could fix a very heavy front door. I initially thought the hinges needed to be replaced, but thankfully, Andy came by and took a closer look. From the start, he was friendly, punctual, and incredibly thorough. He spent about 20 minutes diagnosing the root of the problem to ensure the repair was efficient and cost-effective—something I truly appreciated. Andy determined that the frame of the door had given in to the door’s weight. Using his expertise and some clever handyman tools, he carefully removed the moldings, lifted the door, and secured the frame—all without needing to remove the door itself. The entire job was completed in under two hours. What stood out to me was Andy’s transparency and fairness. He offered a fixed price for the job, even acknowledging that unexpected challenges could arise during the repair process. I also appreciated that he went above and beyond: before even arriving, Andy took the time to purchase heavy-duty hinges just in case they were needed, he later took them back to Home Depot at his own expense. Not only did he deliver excellent work, but his pricing was also incredibly reasonable. I imagine a door repair specialist would have charged at least twice as much. Andy is a true handyman, and I wouldn’t hesitate to hire him again or recommend him to others.
