I was having trouble with a "refurbished" laptop computer I had just purchased. It was not loading the operating system correctly and the CD drive did not work. These problems came up just a few days after I got the system. At first it worked fine. Ryan was the only person who responded to my request for help from "Thumbtack" who offered to look at the system before he said what he would do or quote a price to solve the problems. He said he needed his hourly rate for one hour to just see what was wrong. The rate was reasonable so I let him take the system and he got back to me within the same day with an explanation and a picture of the problem he found. He also had a way to get the parts to fix it at another very reasonable price. He had the machine back to me working perfectly within just 4 days. He could have done it faster if I had wanted to pay more for the parts. He's a very sharp guy and it was a pleasure doing business with him.
