I reach out to all the top movers on thumbtack!!! Oh Ship’s was professional and courteous from the start, so glad I went with them!
Felix, the scheduler, was very accommodating and price matched! And the higher rated and cheaper was not as courteous!! The movers, Paul & Santiago, were amazing! They were quick, very careful to not damage my furniture and walls, and professional! I worried that they wouldn’t be able to finished the job of moving large furniture pieces within my house but they did! And finished sooner than I thought!
Most importantly, I’m very careful about who I let into my home! There’s a lot of weirdo out there and you can never be too cautious! But Paul and Santiago were literally great, very professional (aka no creepy vibes) very courteous! They listened to the laundry list of what I needed moved and packed and did an excellent job! Will be hiring them again!

I’m not even sure where to begin. From the friendly conversations and taking the time to understand my needs, to going above and beyond by removing my living room door and even the fridge door just to get everything moved in safely—the service was truly exceptional.

Oh Ship! Moving has excellent service. I made a request with only two days till moving day and Felix called me almost immediately after I made the request. I gave him my time, date, and location and he gave me a full price quote nothing hidden or shady. He also said they do price matching and I thought that was great cause who doesn't want a little discount. I agreed to his quote (honestly cause he was just really nice on the phone) and hung up. I went to make my Uhaul rental and they had movers assistance as an add-on, one had a slightly lower price than the quote I was given. I thought, well, it can't hurt to ask for a price match. So I did and I was so happy that he honored what he said! Felix stayed in contact verifying the time, address and if anything changed to just keep in touch through moving day. So moving day finally came and the movers came 10 minutes early, were dressed professionally and ready to go. They introduced themselves to everyone and got to work. Zac and Nate were amazing! They asked questions to clarify, they were thorough and paid attention to details. I had delicate objects and they took care not to damage them. I had boxes that were damaged, broken, wobbly, and had no lids and they put them to the side to process those separately to not get more damaged. Very thoughtful. We had multiple locations to go to and they were prompt and still had pleasant attitudes through the whole process. Me and my family were so happy for their help. Definitely would go with Oh Ship! Movers again. I highly recommend them to anyone who is looking to hire movers with great service, professionalism and have an excellent experience start to finish.

From there, we provide a clear estimate and answer any questions so everything is understood upfront. On moving day, our team arrives on time, protects the home and furniture, carefully loads and transports everything, then unloads and places items where the customer wants them. We focus on keeping the process smooth, organized, and stress-free from start to finish.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our experience comes from years of hands-on work in the moving industry, where we’ve learned the best techniques for packing, lifting, loading, and protecting customers’ belongings safely and efficiently. We’ve also trained our team in proper moving procedures, customer service, and handling specialty items to make sure every move is done professionally and with care.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
We got started in the moving industry by helping friends and family with local moves, and it quickly turned into something we were passionate about. We realized there was a real need for movers who are reliable, careful, and professional. From there, we built the company around hard work, customer service, and making the moving process as stress-free as possible for every client.
