- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Most divorce cases can be finished from beginning to end for about $400. This should be the pricing guideline for most people before making the decision as to which Legal Document Assistant ("paralegal") office to use. Some may charge about $50 less or $50 but you should not be paying more than $500-$600.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes, constantly. California's Judicial Forms change constantly. We must stay abreast of these changes and also changes in the court's procedures.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
When a person faces a legal matter, such as divorce or probate, it can come across as daunting and worrisome. It is very gratifying to be in a position to assist people navigate through their issues.
