I'm Waleed, I founded LessonOrca. I scored a 1570 on the SAT and a 35 on the ACT, and I built the company around one rule: every tutor we hire has to have scored at least 1500 on the SAT or 34 on the ACT. No exceptions, no general tutors who also do test prep. Four tutors. I do the intake on every student myself and I pick who they work with, so you're not getting matched by an algorithm. How it works. Lesson one is a diagnostic. We score every skill separately so we find the exact question types costing points, and you get that breakdown in writing. Then it's the same weekly slot with the same tutor, working their actual mistakes, not a generic curriculum. Between lessons they get practice built around their specific gaps on software we built, plus they can reach their tutor between lessons so they're not stuck on a question until next Thursday. Pricing, so you don't have to ask. $499/month is one lesson a week. $899/month is two a week. That's what I'd recommend if the test is under 30 days out. 15% off if you pay six months up front. Payment is before the first lesson. If the first lesson isn't worth it, I refund it. No argument. Everything is online, so it doesn't matter where you are. Tell me your test date and where they're scoring now and I'll tell you honestly what I'd do. If we're not the right fit I'll say so.
