Introduction: At Farm to Fork Catering aka Food First Events, we strive to serve the best ingredients, sourced from the best places! Our staff is dedicated to your needs and wants. We give all of our clients and events our full attention! Our chef and owner, David Gussin’s background includes heading up some of LA's hottest restaurants as Executive Chef: STK, Fig & Olive and Cleo. These experiences as the executive chef managing a brigade of 50 cooks and servers is what elevates Food First Events beyond your everyday catering company! We have since worked with clients such as Kevin Lee (shi shi shi) and his clients, True Religion Jeans, the Housewives of Beverly Hills, E! Entertainment, CBRE, Estee Lauder, and many more. We specialize in every type of service ranging from our amazing drop off catering to full blown weddings with a staff of 50. We work with many budgets and are excited to hear about your upcoming event! We are extremely passionate about food, wine, spirits and service! When eating, I want people to feel the love we have for food and enjoy the true quality of the excellence we expect.

Wedding and Event Catering

Molly and David catered for our wedding and everyone loved the food! They are an amazing couple, extremely friendly, professional and talented and I would highly recommend them for your wedding. We had about 120 guests and did it buffet style and decided to incorporate both our cultures so they did a mix of Cuban and Indian food which was a big hit. The number 1 compliment we received was about the food and to us that was extremely important. From the first tasting to the day of, Molly and David were awesome to work with. Thank you guys for a great experience!

Chef David Gussin took a personal and professional interest in making sure that my annual Christmas Luncheon went off without a hitch. He made sure that every detail was attended to, prior to the day of the event. Everything was done to my delight. He and his staff arrived on time and got to work preparing and serving the most delicious meal to my guests. My guests and I were impressed with the quality of food and the professional manner in which it was presented. Food First Event and Catering Company made my Christmas Luncheon a most memorable one for me, for my family and friends. I certainly plan to hire them again.

Chef David and his team were amazing. I hired Chef David three days before my event, and he was able to pull off a beautiful meal for 14 guests in my home. His sommelier, Marlon was super fun and created a tasty specialty drink from the odds and ends he could find from my fridge. Most importantly the food was delicious, especially the kale caesar and the butter cake. Big thanks to Chef David, we're definitely hiring you again.

    We have a range of services from wedding receptions with organic ingredients to corporate luncheon drop offs. We work with a range of budgets and styles! We typically work with a $1500 minimum

    I love working with new customers! Lets discuss all of your options so we can custom tailor the event to your specific needs, budget and wants!

    2005 Graduate of Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Arts program. 14 years professional experience in fine dining restaurants and catering in Los Angeles and Chicago.
