FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer a New Client 2-Pack of Private Sessions for $200 (in-person or virtually). After completion of the New Client Package, I offer 5-Packs and 10-Packs, each at a slightly more discounted rate.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
As a new client, you will fill out a brief health survey prior to their first appointment, so that I can learn a little bit more about your health and fitness goals. At our first session together, I'll perform a brief mobility assessment and then take you through a Beg/Int Pilates Reformer workout. I sometimes joke with new clients that the first session is really for the instructor to get the lay of the land in front of them, or in this case, the body in front of them. The first session is a chance for me to see how you move and transition on the equipment, what learning style works best for you, and what level I can start to train you at. After that first session, I'll create a custom program that targets your health and fitness goals, and you can expect future sessions to increase in intensity and challenge as you become more familiar with the exercises and equipment.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been a fully certified Pilates instructor for near a decade. I was trained in the Classical method on all equipment, but later learned contemporary Pilates as well. Today, I train in both styles depending on the client's goals and needs. In addition to my Pilates training, I have additional training in anatomy, pre/post natal exercise and Pilates, osteoporosis, scoliosis, and specific Pilates training for men and athletes. I also have experience teaching TRX, barre, and weight lifting, and regularly teach group Reformer classes.
