- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I try to remain reasonable. Weddings are a ton of work, both prep, during the event, and especially afterwards doing post-production. So I charge accordingly. For a quick portrait session I can usually do everything in a few hours.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Generally I tell them to take a look at my website to get an idea of my style, substance, and methodology. If it matches what they are looking for than we move on. But I am incapable of being a salesman, much to my detriment. BUt I would rather develop long relationships with people rather than make quick easy sales.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was a photography major in college for a very long time while supporting myself through school. These were the great days of darkrooms and chemicals, all of which I loved.
