I had a disappointing experience. The handyman came out to look at a relatively small job and quoted a price that felt high for about an hour of work. I politely said I was receiving lower estimates elsewhere.
When he asked what those offers were and I began checking my phone to give an accurate answer, his demeanor changed. He became defensive, spoke in a rude tone, and abruptly walked out without continuing the conversation.
I understand pricing can vary, but professionalism and basic courtesy matter. Unfortunately, that was lacking here.
