Introduction

Hello my name is Brian, I am a third-generation arborist running a small owner/operator style business. It is based upon honesty, hard work, safety and reliability. I vow to uphold all International Society of Arboriculture standards first and foremost. I will always recommend what is best for the tree yet with consciousness to what the customer also would like, a balance. Each cut is made consciously making sure not to damage the tree or any targets that may be near the tree and I believe in cleaning up better than when I arrived. I serve all of San Diego county but mainly eastern and can perform any arborist service you may need. Please feel free to call or email me for a free quote. I perform consultation, tree risk assessment, removal, thinning, saftey trimming, planting, stump removal, cabling, bracing, lightning protection, fertilization, insect treatment, orchard trimming as well as plant health care. I’ve hired many “pros” on Thumbtack, Yelp, Task-rabbit and it can certainly be hit or miss. Brian is exactly the kind of professional you hope to hire through these platforms. After working with Brian, it was evident that he knows his craft and takes pride in seeing a job through to the end. We had four large trees that needed to be planted on our steep, rocky hillside. Brian was quick to give us a very competitive quote. His response times and communication were prompt and clear. He was consistent and patient as we took time to form a game plan due to our personal schedules and choosing trees. Brian showed up prepared for the job and listened as we explained our “vision”. He started working immediately. He took extra care to show us how he properly plants the trees and explained the after-care regime to ensure they would be healthy. The result was exactly as we envisioned it and we couldn’t be happier! Thank you Brian!

Brian did a great job trimming back all the trees around our property. We had several large palms and a big bird of paradise that had all been let go for awhile. Brian cleaned them all up really nicely, and also cleared all the branches hanging over our property line. Overall he was very responsive, friendly, professional, and did a beautiful job. We will definitely hire him again.

If I could give more than five stars, then I most certainly would for this review. From the get-go, Brian communicated very clearly and responded to all of my questions and concerns. This made my decision easy to make which never happens with any new service. Upon making his acquaintance, I was very impressed with how he planned things out. We re-examined the tree and made sure that emphasized requests would be addressed. Completion was lightning fast, well executed, and the overall result was amazing. He is a master of his craft, and his passion is truly reflected in his demeanor and work. Without a doubt, I will be choosing Brian again and be sending referrals his way!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The typical process is giving a free estimate. Either meeting in person or simply driving by the jobsite. Giving a estimate via photo also has proven to work on small and simple jobs. I also have an hourly rate with one way travel as a third option.

Continuous workbook studies to reach CEU requirements.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
3rd generation arborist. Hand taught by father with over 40 years of experience.
