Social Coaching Club

Introduction: Social coaching club believes that helping parents help their children is paramount. We are utilizing the Active Parenting Program specifically targeted for parents of children in middle and high school, looking to increase their parenting tools and strengthen their relationships with their children and teens. Our classes run cyclically and repeat every six weeks, allowing anyone to join the class at any point in the class series. There are six classes in the parenting program, each class being 90-minutes in length. Topics covered: *parenting styles *mutual respect *communicating *encouragement *discipline *logical consequences *courage and self-esteem *diffusing power struggles *goals of teen behavior *reducing risk-taking behaviors *prevention strategies; drugs, sex and violence Classes are held Tuedsay evenings from 7:30 to 9pm at our calabasas location. It includes active parenting for teens book.
