FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Every roof and solar project is different, so we start with a free inspection and a detailed written quote. It covers materials, labor, disposal, and local permits. The price we quote is the price you pay, with no hidden fees. If we find something unexpected once work begins, we'll show you and get your approval before doing any extra work. As a local South Bay company, we know San Jose-area permitting and PG&E solar requirements, so there are no costly surprises. Bundling your roof and solar together can also save you money. We offer competitive fair market pricing for your project.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
It starts with a free inspection at your home. Then we walk you through what we found and give you a clear written quote for your roof replacement. If you are looking for solar, we'll ask you what your goals are, analyze your current energy consumption, to get the right sizing and assemble a system that would be the most efficient at obtaining those goals. Once you're ready, we take care of San Jose-area permits and any PG&E paperwork for solar. On install day our crew protects your property, keeps you updated, and cleans up fully when the job is done. We do a final walkthrough with you to make sure you're happy, and we're here for any follow up questions or service needed after the job.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We're a licensed California roofing and solar contractor [CSLB License #894247] with 21 years of experience serving San Jose and the South Bay. Our team is certified by roofing manufacturers such as GAF / Owens Corning / CertainTeed, so we install to the manufacturer's standards and can offer extended warranties. For solar, our installers are NABCEP-certified, the industry's top credential. Our crews also receive ongoing safety training OSHA-certified and stay current on local building codes and PG&E requirements.
