This review is incredibly overdue, but I sincerely do not think we could have asked for better service. I wish I could book her for general life support at all times. You look around at an 800sqft apartment and think it cannot possibly take that long to pack, but a few days before our scheduled movers came, we looked around and realized we were exhausted and not even close to where we needed to be. Laurie came with brilliant packing experience, providing us actual expertise on packing fragile and unusual items so that they wouldn't be damaged. Her perspective on how to label things so that the movers would have an easy time was amazing, she made us a super simple system that easily transcended language barriers so we had an extremely seamless move. Packing, as a concept, doesn't seem like a difficult task, but when you pack up a place filled with years of memories, under a tight timeline, the emotional labor associated with wrapping each item or deciding what needs to be tossed can become insurmountable. Laurie gets this. She really truly gets this, and even though we drastically underestimated how much help we would need, she didn't. When she took our job, she knew that we were deep in over our heads, she coached us through that realization, and she was available to assist us down to the very last minute. She went the extra mile every step of the way, helping us get packing supplies, keeping us on track, and lightening the mood when things got tense. I cannot recommend her enough, we were so so so happy with her help!

Exceptional experience working with Laurie. She is knowledgeable and anticipated what I needed before I knew I needed it. She was very compassionate and patient with me while I was going through a stressful move. She organized and handled things for me and took a lot off my plate. 10/10 would recommend highly.
