Hi I’m Sophia! I’m a jazz and classical pianist and songwriter in the Los Angeles area. I have an active following of over 3000 on my social media platforms, and I’ve been teaching for nearly 10 years.
My number one goal has always been to allow those I work with to achieve their dreams and to continually grow and cultivate a love for music. I hope to share my knowledge with you to help you on your own music journey.
Here’s my background:
I’ve been playing piano since I was three years old, and acquired my advanced grade performance certificate from Associated Board of the Royal School of Music at 16. This program is classical music based. I was accepted into the classical piano performance program at CSUN in 2013 but switched and I graduated Cum Laude from Cal State Northridge with a degree in Media Composition in 2018. During my time at CSUN I also I studied jazz with the director of jazz studies at CSUN (at the time) Matt Harris as well as Jazz faculty member and amazing pianist Gary Fukishima.
