5‑Star Review for Carmelo and His Team I’ve hired Carmelo for three different projects now, and each time he has exceeded expectations. He met with me more than once before starting the job to make sure we were aligned on the scope. He is very clear and firm about defining expectations upfront, which I appreciated because it prevented any misunderstandings later. - Quality of work: consistently excellent - Problem‑solving: creative, practical, and efficient - Craftsmanship: top‑tier across all trades, not just woodwork Project 1 – Concrete Work (building retaining wall/curb + sidewalks) Concrete work is clean and flawless. Carmelo didn’t cut corners on materials or labor — everything is solid, level, and professionally finished. Project 2 – Wood Fence + Concrete Pad Extension He built a sturdy, full‑privacy fence using metal posts and wood dog‑ear planks. The quality is outstanding—solid construction, clean lines, and built to last. The concrete pad extension was also done perfectly. Project 3 – Wood Repair + Painting This was the most challenging because my house is older and the original wood no longer matches modern standards. Carmelo was incredibly creative, doing custom woodwork so the repaired areas blend perfectly with the original structure. For the painting portion, he negotiated the scope firmly, but in the end he delivered MORE than what we agreed on, finished faster than expected, and the quality is excellent. Carmelo is very reliable, skilled, and takes pride in his work. I trust him completely and will continue hiring him for future projects. Highly recommended!
