- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Yes, basically my rate is $55 an hour with a $10 service fee. So up to the first hour of grooming is a flat rate of $65 which includes a bath, shampoo, conditioner, ears cleaned, nails cut, blow dry, brush out & any trimming if necessary. Should a groom go over an hour I charge $13.75 per 15 minute increment. 1hr 15mins would be $78.75, 1hr 30mins $92.50, 1hr 45mins $106.25, 2hrs $120.00 and so it goes on. I also provide add on services such as special shampoos etc: Oatmeal $5.00 Flea & Tick $8.00 Flea & Tick + 30 day preventative $15.00 De-shedding treatment $10 Teeth brushing $5.00 Anal Gland Expression $10.00 Special handling of Older/difficult dogs $10.00
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I started grooming in early 2001 as a brusher/bather at Petsmart & within a couple of months I was sent to grooming school in Pasadena funded by them. in November 2005 I started my own mobile grooming business....the rest is history😃
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Most of the customers I work with have 1 or 2 family pets they have me groom, some have as many as 6 or more! I also work with rescue organisations, I have been grooming dogs for The Gentle Barn since 2007.
