35 years experience in all phases of construction. Retired contractor with a world of knowledge. Apprentice carpenter in the mid 70's. Journeyman for years after. I have worked on jobs of all sizes and complexities but now prefer to stay with the smaller remodel types. Having a degree in Architecture and years of experience in the industry, I am a great resource of information and skills. Like to work local and help with small jobs and tasks of various complexities and simplicities. Enjoy working and helping local friends and neighbors with tasks or projects they do not have the time for or do not have the tools or know how to complete in a professional manner. I take great pride in my work and relationship with my clients. The majority of the work I get is word of mouth based on my reputation and "job" time..

Mr. Baxter did a great job in fixing a riser that was cracked due to water damage and insect. I needed a good strong repair and he was efficient, on time and knowledgeable. I won't hesitate to contact him again should the need arise. Thank you, Lee Anne Z.

Clark was prompt and very courteous and have good ideas about different assignments. Only do not let him carry very heavy items since he had a back problem.

I needed a handyman who was interested first, in doing a couple of small jobs. It can be hard to find a handyman willing to do that. Clark came out and fixed two doors that were sticking. It was a one hour job. He was reasonable, quick and capable. I will use him again.

Clark was very responsive and easy to get ahold of. The work he performed was on a rental property and it was easy to get him in touch with the tenants to stop by to fix the front and rear doors. He is also very knowledgeable and honest about the work required. Clark is local to the area so I know I can count on him in a pinch, and I will be using his services in the future.

This kind man"Clark" was nice enough to come to my house and fix 4 wood chairs I have that were broken and when I asked him how much he just said:"Merry Christmas". I needed the chairs since I'm expecting relatives over for Christmas. I'm very thankful he helped me out and now I'll have enough chairs for everyone on Christmas Day!!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Basically I try to charge hourly but will do a fixed price if requested.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to personally meet each potential client to see the project and get a feel for the chemistry involved in working on a project. The planning and strategy of each project is crucial in a successful relationship and a great final product.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Went through apprenticeship as a carpenter and later obtained a degree in Architecture. I enjoy a multitude of job site experience.
