Douglas responded to my original request and agreed with what needs to be done. He went to HD and sent me pictures of available floor boards, but once he got to the house and started the job, he realized the water damages were extensive and the whole room shall be replaced. He finished the whole room within 3 hours with a helper. The job was done perfectly with very reasonable rate. Save me a trip to Santa Cruz and tons of headaches and hassles. He is an excellent asset for a remote landlord and for sure will call on him for future repairs.

I hired Douglas to remove my old fluorescent ballasts so I could install some newer tubes, which required some rewiring. He took out my old ballasts and advised me that I had purchased the wrong tubes (ones that only work well with electronic ballasts). The next day I exchanged the tubes at the hardware store, but had trouble installing them myself. He came back and made the necessary adjustments, and now I have excellent lighting again in my kitchen!

It was too complicated for him, he took two hours at $55 an hour and charged me 350 bucks. He did get one light working. Not a good electrician and definitely not somebody I would call again.
