I regard my massages as sacred space. My presence is warm and nurturing, allowing you to deeply relax while I play a gentle symphony of healing upon your body. My massage has a sensuous flow to it, a soothing rhythm. I can provide powerful deep tissue work which is focused and effective, while retaining a gentleness of touch that lulls you into deeper levels of relaxation and release.
You are welcome to visit me at my lovely studio near the beach in Capitola, CA or my Los Altos studio which is convenient to many Silicon Valley locations. Or I can come to you and set up a spa-like atmosphere in only 5 minutes. I provide mobile massage in Santa Cruz, Monterey, Silicon Valley and the greater Bay area.
I am California state certified by CAMTC, and insured through ABMP.
I love to make people feel good with my massages. It is very rewarding to me to hear that I was able to help relieve pain in a particular area or that my session allowed someone to relax more deeply than they normally can.

Tamar is a great masseuse! She brought her portable massage table with her to the house we rented for our vacation. She worked on the areas we asked her to work on and created a very relaxing environment.

I've seen Tamar Leffert fairly regularly for years. She arrives on time. She has strong hands! Her pressure is healing. Extra! Extra! She has a massage table heating pad! ( Very Nice!) She is always updating her skills. (Lomi Lomi last year) from Kaye, Santa Cruz

I would like to wholeheartedly recommend Tamar Leffert, of Capitola, as a certified massage expert. I had my first session in Spring 2018 with Tamar, and was immediately impressed by the calming ambience in the space she is able to create for her clients. Soft music, comfortable massage table (I’ve had some horrible ones), and her great touch. She is able to apply considerable pressure to problem areas, if that is what is necessary and/or desired, this is not always a given with many massage experts or physical therapists. Since my first visit I was very interested to return, and I have done so now at least 4 times since then. It has been a wonderful gift to myself every time, and I look forward to every session.
