Diamant was incredibly responsive throughout the entire planning process and very patient with me changing my mind all over the place. I was planning from afar and she did a great job taking all my ideas and turning them into a reality with just pictures and descriptions over email! Everything came out even more beautiful than I imagined, even a floral hairpiece! She stayed after the ceremony and moved everything to the reception area, provided beautiful decor pieces, and came back to pick everything up. She is the BEST florist ever!

Diamant does amazing work. She can make any wedding come to life with her amazing arrangements. She is very talented and I have had the pleasure of working with her on several weddings with my brides. Diamant can do anything from Hawaiian floral to extravagant garland and floral displays. Her rates are very fair and she is very detailed and maticulous with her floral creations. Diamant is very easy to work with and has some of the best arrangements I have seen in the wedding industry. She is definitely one of my go to florists as a wedding coordinator. Brides absolutely love her work. Thank you for all that you do.

I wanted beautiful, unique and inspiring flowers for my wedding and so of course I felt so lucky to have Blue Ladder do our wedding. Diamant has a special gift for colors, plants, flowers, textures -she brings them all together to create something truly magical that's just what you wanted. Our wedding was in a modern barn that Diamant turned into a dream, it felt like a totally different space by the time she was done. I was specific on some things but also totally just let her loose on other things and she delivered to a T! She gave great recommendations and arrived right on time and was done early. She's everything I would want in an event decorator and if you're trying to decide, save yourself the headache (you probably already have enough decisions to make!) and go for it, you won't regret it she is the best!

I have had the great pleasure of working with Diamant on several occasions. She has a sunny disposition and is easy to talk to. She has a fantastic eye and is committed to pulling every detail of an event together. She is able to see the entire event as a piece of art; considering the venue, the theme and the spirit of the occasion, she creates a unique and exceptional experience every time. Diamant is a true artist with an eclectic edge. Her designs are brilliant and she can make the mundane truly magical. She is devoted to her work and does it with joy.

FAQs

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Aside from my Bachelors, I have a Certificate in Business Management from UCSD extension program. I also do research on recent floral trends and take classes to stay informed and gain new skills. I love playing with flowers with other floral friends and just experimenting with new combinations.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I love gardening, planting and watching things grow, and engaging with edible food. My passion for gardens led me to work for a nonprofit, an after school education program, and a local school garden program. After gaining experience in business development and communications I wanted to start applying those skills to my own business ideas. And so Blue Ladder was born! Education is important to me so I still help out in a local school garden and love offering seasonal workshops for floral design.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I create customized floral decor for weddings, birthdays, showers, or other gatherings. I also make custom bouquets/arrangements and will deliver them to your door within North San Diego County.
