FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Individual headshot sessions start at $250 for one person and include a 30-minute session and two retouched digital images. The session location will be agreed upon beforehand. Team headshots, events, portraits, and aerial projects are quoted according to their scope. Please include the number of people, location, coverage needed, and intended use when requesting a quote. Any additional charges, such as extended travel or additional retouched images, will be discussed and agreed upon before booking. A $75 booking deposit and signed agreement are required to reserve your session date and time. The deposit is applied toward your total, with the remaining balance due before the session begins. Cancellation and rescheduling terms are outlined in the booking agreement.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We’ll start by discussing what you need, how you’ll use the images, and any examples or preferences you have. I’ll provide a quote outlining the session, deliverables, and turnaround. Before booking, we’ll confirm the location, schedule, and total price. During the session, I’ll guide you through posing and expression so you feel comfortable in front of the camera. For individual headshot sessions, I’ll send a private folder of preview images within three calendar days of the session. You’ll choose your favorites and send me their filenames. Your selected, retouched images will be delivered within seven calendar days after I receive your selections. Turnaround for events and larger projects will be confirmed before booking. Rush delivery may be available for an additional fee, depending on the project and my availability. Please mention any deadlines when requesting a quote so we can agree on timing and pricing in advance.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Photography has been a personal interest of mine for more than 20 years, and I’ve developed my skills through hands-on practice and ongoing independent learning. That experience, combined with a natural eye for detail, has shaped my approach to composition, light, and expression. My training also includes photography coursework at Palomar College, complementing my practical experience with formal study.
