Question and answer

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Make sure that you schedule a consultation to get to know the planner before you choose to hire. Making sure that your consultant, coordinator or planner have your vision is key to the success and outcome of your event. It will also help should you want to compare fees and services.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. Personality is the key to enjoyable planning and day of the event. Your planner needs to be able to understand your vision as well as work together well with the other vendors you have hired. Also, the saying is true...you get what you pay for.

Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?

A. How long have you been in business? If less than two years you might want to talk with a few of their former clients to make sure they know what they are doing. Your event should not be their first.

Are you insured? This is a must have.

Can I get vendor referances? Anyone can make a client happy. The true test is how do they work with their peers. Happy vendors equal happy clients. If your planner is keeping the other vendors happy then your event will be much more successful.
