We recently moved from Folsom to Fremont, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better moving experience. Oliver Moving Services exceeded our expectations in every way.
They handled everything—packing, loading, transporting, unloading, and unpacking. They used high-quality U-Haul moving boxes and premium packing materials, so we felt confident that our belongings were well protected. Every item arrived safely, and nothing was damaged or misplaced.
What impressed me the most was how organized and professional the crew was. Everyone knew exactly what they were responsible for. There was no wasted time, no confusion, and no unnecessary talking. They worked efficiently, calmly, and respectfully from start to finish. It was obvious they were experienced and had a great system in place.
They also went above and beyond what we expected. They mounted our TVs, hung heavy mirrors, and even helped mount wall décor in our new home, saving us a tremendous amount of time and effort. Many companies would charge extra for these services, but they were happy to help.
Another thing that really stood out was their attitude. Throughout the move, we asked for several extra things that weren’t originally planned, and not once did anyone say no or make us feel like we were asking for too much. Every request was met with a smile, and every team member was friendly, patient, and eager to help. It’s rare to find a crew that genuinely cares about making the customer happy.
Moving is usually one of life’s most stressful experiences, but they made the entire process feel effortless. Their professionalism, attention to detail, efficiency, and positive attitude made all the difference.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We have a 3-hour minimum for all jobs.
Our standard hourly rates are:
• 2 movers – $145/hour
• 3 movers – $1185/hour
• 4 movers – $225/hour
Heavy or specialty items (like pianos, safes, gym equipment) may require an additional fee — please let us know in advance.
Travel policy:
If the distance between the pickup and drop-off locations is more than 10 miles, we apply Double Drive Time as per standard California labor guidelines.
(This means the driving time between locations is counted twice, to fairly cover time and fuel.)
We provide flat-rate quotes upon request.
No hidden fees — our pricing includes labor, travel, and basic equipment.
