Sometimes a client needs to legalize a document to use abroad. I provide Apostille service, if documents arrives in the morning, it can be processed and Fedex back same day to your address in the USA, consulate, embassy, or country.
Sometimes a specific document needs to be translated, certified, notarized before the apostille. We also provide that service.

As far a loan signings, every week is different, mostly refinance or purchase loans; FHA, VA, conventional loans, reverse mortgages, commercial loans.
When a customer ask for a document legalization, I receive requests for different countries( Hague and not Hague Convention members), apostilles, authentication, embassy legalization, some need translation; power of attorney, birth, marriage, death certificates, divorce decrees, living trusts, health directives, diplomas, transcripts, corporate documents... legal, financial, Real Estate, business and personal documents.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Make sure you hire a Notary that has experience with the documents you need to have notarized. For example, a botched notarization can cause delays or even cancellation of a Real Estate transaction; a Certified Signing Agent Notary has the capability of signing your purchase or refinance documents to ensure a seamless process.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Notaries are not attorneys; we cannot provide legal advice. We cannot tell you if you need a jurat or an acknowledgment. Always consult with the agency that is requesting your document notarized for details.
Apostille is a legalization of documents originated in one country that are accepted in other countries. Read more at CaliforniaApostille.US
When ordering a translation of a document that needs also an Apostille you should know which one needs to be apostilled, for example, the original, the translated document or both? Check with the consulate, embassy, or agency in your country that is requesting the authentication or legalization of your documents.
