My 5 - year - old daughter was terrified to learn to swim, but after a few sessions with Allan, she was excited to get into the water, and by the end of the summer season, she was water safe.

I think Allan is a great instructor. I am an older adult who is just learning how to swim and have a lot of tension and fear. Allan recognizes that, works to calm me and I have gotten to the point where I trust him to catch and calm me if I freak out. He doesn't push me but encourages me to come out of my comfort zone. He also instructs my 8 year old granddaughter after our lesson. I sit and observe him working with her and he is very patient and responsive to her. He makes it fun for her and she seems very comfortable with him. Although I have taken swimming lessons before and did not stick with it, I feel I will definitely learn how to swim on my own after working with Allan. I am confident my granddaughter will know how to swim after working with him also.
