Dan was great and went beyond my expectations. We hired him to sister some rotted floor joists and replace some damaged supports to the foundation of our 101yr old home. I had initially just wanted that work done, and a quote on reframing and replacing our garage door in addition. We decided to have the work done on the garage as well and couldn't be happier. He performed quality work and finished the entire job on time and on budget -- In the rain... with an 18" crawl space under the house... completed hours before a 3.7 quake hit! -- Will def hire him when we need carpentry work done again in the future.

We were thrilled with the job that Dan did removing our old redwood deck and building an ipe deck totaling about 350 sq. ft. As a businessman, Dan could not have been more fair and professional, from start to finish. In preparing his estimate, he offered suggestions on how we could reduce our costs, and he shopped multiple suppliers to get us the best materials price. He responded promptly by email to any questions and provided a strong, thorough bid for the work. Once the job started, Dan and his colleague Sam kept to their schedule and kept us posted on their progress; they could not have been nicer. Their work itself was impeccable: They sweated the details and took their time to get the job done right. Dan will be the first we call for any future carpentry needs.

I needed to fix dry rot damage around two windows. Unfortunately, one of the windows had damage beyond what they could do in the short-term. I appreciated the professional and honest assessment and trying to do the right thing, instead of doing a quick job and doing it incorrectly, which would have been worse for us long-term. I would definitely reach out to Dan again for additional carpentry work.

I had some holes in walls that needed to be patched and painted, Dan did a great job patching and then purchasing matching paint. Fixed a light that was loose on the esterior of garage. Very polite.

Dan was great to work with. He performed a a quick inspection and estimate - arriving at the stated time, and then did the work the next day. He repaired some structural issues with my deck, and did a bit of inside wood repair as well. He was quick and efficient, and the work was an excellent value.

Our desire is to provide top notch quality at a fair price. We often are not the cheapest option but we desire to offer pristine quality work at a normal market value.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
From the very beginning complete satisfaction is our goal. This means to start our first task is to figure out exactly what the customer wants done. All info we can collect about this helps a successful outcome.
Once the understanding of the job is clear for both of us we can give a bid. Once the bid is accepted we will get it scheduled and then completed.
We strive to make it a simple, smooth and stress-free experience all the way through.
