I needed to get my kitchen, bedrooms, laundry room, and den unpacked and set up in a complex move. Kristin was remarkable. She understood my situation -- which was both very stressful and demanding -- and took me under her wings. She had everything done ahead of schedule and had everything organized beautifully. She got me cabinet and drawer organizers and installed them for me. She removed all of the boxes and packing. I was so lucky to find Kristie. She is the greatest!!!!

Kristin came in and helped me organize my home office and craft room. She was always prepared--even with her hand truck and furniture sliders! She had great ideas for office furniture placement, how to get rid of unwanted furniture and suggested decorative office accessories! I loved how she picked up my order at the Container Store and was always sending me good ideas for more organization. She also introduced me to the Freedom Flier system which is a self purging file system so I now have a new way to organize and file all my business and personal papers! She has a different eye than me which was perfect! Her perspective was great and she could cut through the clutter that was holding me back! The best part was that she was fun to work with! We spent 4-5 sessions together and I am so happy and proud of our results! It's a delight to go into my office now!

Kristin continues to impress me with new skills and resourcefulness each time she helps me in my 2 bdrm. apartment. After years of difficulty organizing the "stuff of my life", I made an agreement with myself to hire someone. I spoke with several people and Kristin stood out to me. She is always friendly and punctual whether it be by email, phone or in person. She has several years of experience and knows what it takes to get the job done. Her always-affirmative approach toward organizing encourages me to notice and improve on my own patterns and develop new skills to help myself. Kristin always finds the most effective way to get the job done and she always goes above and beyond, knowing that organization of my home allows me a greater sense of inner peace and improved concentration. Kristin helped me to organize my kitchen, bathrooms, living room, bedrooms, and closets, even purchasing bins and baskets to help organize the cupboards (much easier to find items now!) She also helped me move a few pieces of furniture in order to make the areas more functional following feng shui. I just can't say enough to describe how great it is to work with Kristin. She has made a great deal of difference in my life and is a total gem!!! I definitely want to continue working with Kristin so I can become more capable in the challenged areas of my highly scheduled life.

Kristin helped me get my life back. I have a nice house, but it was such a disorganized mess that it was making me miserable. I had tried to get organized, but all the organizing "stuff" I bought, as well all my other stuff, only added to the clutter. I'm good at a lot of things, but organizing a home is not one of them, and I literally did not know what to do. So I turned to the Internet. I looked at Yelp. Kristin had great reviews, so I called her. She came over on a Saturday and spend the day restoring order to my home. I was so discouraged with my house that I just hid in my bedroom while Kristin did her magic. When I came out, it was like a weight been lifted off my shoulders, the sunshine through the clouds. LOL. Kristin took away all the Amazon boxes that had been piling up. She set up systems so that I could do things efficiently and logically--a place to put incoming mail, a place to put groceries, everything for making tea and coffee put together in the same location, etc. I have a lot of hobbies, and little bits and pieces of them were scattered all over the house. Kristin managed to gather, sort and organize all of them. Amazing. I was a little hesitant to hire an organizer because I was afraid I wouldn't be able to find my things if somebody moved them. That ended up not being an issue at all, just the opposite. Now, if I want to find something and I don't know where it is, all I have to do is say, "Well, where is the logical place for it?" And there it is. Much better than my old method of trying to remember, searching the house, and then going out and buying a duplicate because I couldn't find what I needed. The best thing is now that my place is organized, I feel much more motivated and capable of keeping it this way on my own. I feel more serene now, and, my life is just, well, better. LOL. Highly recommended.

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

    I charge an hourly rate of $100/hr (with a 3 hour minimum) I offer two discounted packages: 12 hr package for 10% off ($90/hr) - $1080 total and a 24 hour package for 20% off ($80/hr) - $1920 total I offer a free 30 minute phone consultation to discuss the project and look at any photos the client is able to provide.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    First I schedule a 30 minute phone consultation, free of charge, to discuss their project - concerns, deadlines, budget, schedule - and any photos they are able to send me. I will talk about my general organizing process, then we'll schedule their first on site, hands on organizing session. Following our phone call I will email them my policies sheet and have them e-sign a client agreement, so all of the administrative tasks are completed prior to our first session.

  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

    Am I ready for change? Am I open to new ways of doing things? Am I ready to let go of things I no longer need or use?
