FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For jobs over four hours, the price is $80 per hour. For jobs requiring one to four hours, the price is $90 per hour.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When I hear from you, we'll set up a time to talk on the phone (about 15 minutes) to get to know your needs and wants. For most jobs, I'd like to come to your home for a 30 minute visit (free of charge) to start making a plan. Within a day, I'll send you an email outlining a proposed plan with some options. Keeping your budget in mind, I can offer an option that reduces my time if you'd like to save money by getting some of the work done yourself. Once I hear back from you, we'll schedule the work. You can decide if you'd like the work done all at once or in stages. You can also choose how involved you want to be. After the project is complete, I'll reach out on an agreed upon schedule to make any adjustments or just to offer gentle accountability.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've worked for over 25 years as a classroom teacher. I've found that one of the most valuable things I can teach children is how to be organized. I've learned that it's a teachable skill and everyone comes to it with a different perspective. This is where the 'Compassionate" part comes into play. We all have strong feelings about our belongings and our personal spaces.
