Whenever possible I like to combine my fine art background with my commercial work and bring a creative and innovative twist to the project. I've been photographing both product and people in my studio and on location for the past 8 years. I have been showing my fine art photography in museums and galleries for the past 15 years. I have a Masters in Photography from the San Francisco Art Institute, where I have also taught a young artist program.
I have experience teaching photography and Photoshop at various institutions within the Bay Area including art schools and community centers. I teach both youth and adult classes; one of my strengths is patience and the ability to adapt to my individual student's skill level and pace of learning.
Due to the nature of my work I get the great pleasure of working with an ever changing team of creative directors, stylists, models and small business owners. Every shoot has it's unique challenges that I like to master by shedding some innovative light on the task at hand. To me it is most rewarding to see a concept come to life in the final photograph.
