What an amazing guitarist. Took our music requests and transformed it into his own adding that personalized touch to our special day! Quick to answer emails and extremely professional! Should have hired him longer into the night! Guests couldn’t stop completing his preformance! A much have! Thank you again!!
Mikey and his bandmates have been my band of choice these past 20 years playing for my GEMINI BIRTHDAY BASH. Always great music! Always great fun! GREAT BAND!!!
Holy $h*t, they were absolutely amazing! I'm the groom and I usually don't use expletives or write reviews (wife's orders), but the Republic of Music deserves both. I've never been to a wedding with a live band, so when they came to ours (also my wife's vision) I was so blown away. They add this completely warm energy and unique experience to the surrounding that allowed everyone to relax, loosen up, and just party! They played anything you wanted, they covered mainly top 40 by our request, but they sounded better then the original artists. We didn't have a lot of time to enjoy the band as we were taking pics and making rounds, but I saw everyone having a good time...I even saw my mom dancing, she is an Asian Tiger Mom, and even she was dancing!! They came with a full band, 3 vocalist, AND a DJ; they also brought lighting. So for the price - it was definitely worth it as hiring a DJ on it's own was almost that price. We are also a muslim couple and they were more than accommodating to any request that we had in terms of attire and music selection. If you want your wedding to have the extra special touch that increases the experiences to both you and your guests, get this band, they will make an impression that will last forever.
Marcela's band Honey Rock played at our wedding 3 years ago, and we still talk about what a great evening of dancing we enjoyed! They played everything from The Stones to Michael Jackson to Adele, so there was something for everyone. Marcela even took some time to learn our special song by Van Morrison so we could have our "bride and groom first dance". We still seek out Marcela and her band on occasion and go for a night out of listening and enjoying. They're fabulous! Tim and Susi Haugh
Ron and his musicians were outstanding!! I hired them for a '40s Big Band Pary for 2 hours and did the deliver! They were very much accommodating to our residents and the staff. Very upbeat group of men who sang and danced with our residents, which made all the ladies very happy! The music was spot on and made us all feel like we really were in the 1940s. Very happy with the performance and their attitudes, absolutely one of the best!
My son Max has been taking lessons with Ed for several years now and we couldn't be happier. Ed is an awesome music teacher with many talents. His knowledge of playing in a band has been a great help for my son. Ed will jump in and play the bass line with Max if needed. I love that he can teach vocals, guitar, bass, and drums and get in there and jam with my son, too. Ed's awesome! I'd highly recommend him if you're looking for a music teacher. Terry
We were so glad we chose this band for our wedding. They were spectacular from the solo guitar entrance music, hosting the event, to closing the dance-floor down late night. I don't know how they kept the energy up for the whole night but they played till the very end. They definitely made our big party complete! PS -- I don't like Journey but the band was so good even I sang along!
Both my son and I have taken guitar lessons from Brian for a few years. It has been a great experience learning a wide variety of styles, from classic Rock to Jazz. And his patience has definitely helped our playing improve over time. I would recommend Brian for anyone from beginner to experienced.
In a world where anyone can claim to be proficient enough at an instrument to be an instructor, it's refreshing to meet a serious musician that deserves the label. Ryan is a diverse player with a large repertoire in a variety of styles including jazz, gypsy jazz, classical, and pop. His students regularly perform in solo and ensemble situations in recitals at The San Diego Music And Art Cooperative and he also teaches separate theory classes that include advanced harmonic analysis. If you or your child would like a musical experience in which the end result includes having a competitive skill set with the top musicians in this area, Ryan's your guy.
I would like to tell anyone looking for a professional and talented person, duo, or group of musicians to enhance or lead an event to look no further Bill Harris can most certainly fill the bill for you. Bill & Stephanie individually or as a duo have been and continue to entertain my clients and guests for a couple of years now. They are currently performing weekly here for me at the Old town Tequila Factory. They do a fantastic job jamming on the Steel Drums on our outside patio or moving inside to the enclosed patio for a lighter marimba and oboe sound. Bill has also taken care of our needs for our special events and on location catering functions. Bill and Stephanie have performed in period costume for us at Christmastime performing music and singing carols looking like they just stepped out of a Norman Rockwell painting. Bill has also brought in additional drummers, guitarists, and a bassist to make the band for our event at the Sheriffs Museum. They are great performers and truly great people. I always look forward to the next appearance.
Great Experience working with Josie. A real Pro's Pro! Scheduling, starting on time and the open communication in the studio and on stage. Shows and performances are top notch.
We love Coffee and Creamer! As an event planner I never have to worry about them being late...they are hard working and truly engage their crowds....they are truly professional...and best of all they are so much fun to work with. The picture I posted is of a whole family that got together to sing. Our shoppers love the live entertainment & we love that they share good music & bring lots of fun to our events. I would recommend them for any & al events. Bev Cassity...Cassity Productions
Jesse and the band did a fantastic job for our birthday party. Played the music that we requested and were very professional. Came on time, started on time and sounded great. I would certainly hire them again for another event.
Make a memorable fiesta with our help! We have a variety of Latin music, cumbias, rancheras, corridos, valadas, rock en Espanol, oldies, rock en Engles. Call and ask if we play your favorite type of music! We bring the speakers, lights, and mic. Rudy Lizarraga Musical has the music; all you need to do is party! We also offer the famous "taquizas" (carne asada tacos) with all the trimmings.
We are a high-energy, fun and entertaining country western band. We play both new and old country. The likes of Johnny Cash, George Strait and Luke Bryan! We will play for weddings, birthday parties, corporate events, and retirements. You name it; we will play it!
We are a wedding, corporate, private and cruise band. We offer configurations from 4 musicians to 6 musicians. We are extremely professional with a significant amount of experience (all have at least 20 years of experience). We play what the client and audience want to hear, and we have complete volume control. We play at the appropriate volume that not only the event calls for, but also the volume the event requires at different times. We are known for our fun showmanship, getting people to sing and dance, and just generally have a great time! We will make your event and special day a great event, to be sure!
Unique Latin Jazz variety of music. We play a range of style that invludes bossa nova, samba and flamenco.
Our vocal arrangements are made to sound as close the originals as possible.
For over 15 years, Emerald River, as a Top 40-country and classic rock band, has been a San Diego country music scene favorite. They have regularly appeared at several private events and local venues, and the background of the band includes opening for major country acts, such as LeAnn Rimes, Pat Green, The Mavericks, and Blake Shelton. Their unique blend of high-energy performances, contemporary country hits, rich harmonies and time-tested country standards keep their audiences on the dance floor until last call!
We play to the crowd, playing dance-friendly rhythms that span the ages, from the 1920s to 2010. All ages can get up and have fun, but we're even better in a honky-tonk setting. Our current cover list includes: Roy Orbison, Bob Dylan, U2, Tom Petty, Johnny Cash, The Traveling Wilburys, The Pogues, Van Morrison, Echo & the Bunnymen, The Pixies, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Willie Nelson, Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, Old Crow Medicine Show, Chuck Berry, Faces, AC/DC, Queen, Bob Marley, T-Rex, David Bowie, Talking Heads, Talk Talk, Cyndi Lauper, The Pretenders, Stray Cats, Sam Cooke, Elvis Presley, Creedence Clearwater Revival, The Soggy Bottom Boys, Eddie Vedder, The Doobies, The Allmans, Concrete Blonde, Counting Crows, Crowded House, Bruce Hornsby, and more!
