After my first unsuccessful medical school application, I turned to my college's pre-med advisor committee for feedback. They were surprised, as were many others, and weren't sure how I should improve my application. When I first met Dr. Kim, he was immediately able to pinpoint my weak areas. Dr. Kim really helped renovate my last application cycle. Now I'm attending one of my top choices for medical school. Even if you already have a pre-med advisor, I couldn't recommend him more highly. His ability to dissect all aspects of the application cycle is phenomenal and he has a broad range of intel in both MD and DO programs. Plus, he's very likeable and personable and I can't imagine any student not getting along with him.

We are very pleased with Joon’s services! He is extremely knowledgeable and experienced. From the undergraduate years, initial medical school application, and interviews, Joon was a wonderful resource. Applying to medical school is quite stressful and we were glad to have the services of Polaris Educational Consulting. Joon’s guidance was instrumental in helping me achieve my dream of becoming a physician by opening me up to the different avenues of becoming a doctor. He is very personable and what I appreciated most about Joon is that he was honest about the routes available to me at that time and what things I could do if I wanted to wait a little longer to enhance my chances. He made time to speak with me anytime I had doubts about the process or to just check in on me to see how I was doing with applications/interviews. I chose the road less taken and went to SGU but I can proudly say that I’m currently an Internal Medicine resident in Las Vegas.

Range will vary greatly based on professional experience, reputation, and demand. Just because one is a career professional doesn't mean they are an expert in the educational process that leads to that particular profession. Ask today's physicians about medical school admissions and the most honest answer would be "I don't know, it's been a while since I was in med school and so much has changed".
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Discuss if what students and/or parents seek is what I offer among my services. I do not place students, my students work hard to earn their achievements and accolades, I'm merely the coach.
