Introduction: I care very much about every dog I walk, and threat them as though they were my own family. I am a registered veterinary technician and can spot any difficulites a dog might be having. I always keep in touch with my clients with how the day went and I love to take photos of my dogs and pass them on to my clients. I take pride in the fact that I'm pretty flexible. What I like most about my job is meeting new people and dogs, not to mention being able to be outside in this amazing city or ours. I love taking the dogs to the presidio where there are endless trails and interesting places to go.

Margaret Davids of Loyal Dog Walking is the best in San Francisco. I have hired other dog walkers and they usually take my dog to the same place everyday and he's back home in 40 minutes. Margaret takes my dog to an assortment of different places, e.g., the Presidio, Baker Beach, Ft. Funston, etc. I know my dog is well-exercised and happy when she brings him home. Margaret is also a veterinarian technician, which makes me feel confident that if anything occurred, she has the knowledge and skill to act accordingly. I am impressed by her reliability, professionalism and genuine love for animals."

Margaret has been our dog walker for about 3 months now and I only have wonderful things to say. She was recommended to me by a reliable vet tech I have worked with, and Margaret is so flexible and she is extremely trustworthy! As a nurse, my schedule changes every week and Maragret is very accommodating with my schedule. She sends me texts on updates with pictures of my dog out with her, and one day I came home to a hand made dog sweater she has personally made for my little dog! She is amazing and I would recommend her to anyone!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I want to start taking some dog training classes, but I do continuing education with the veterinary side of things.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I decided to start a dog walking business because my husband was going to start traveling a lot and I wanted to be able to spend time with my own dog and also be able to work.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I do 60 minute group walks, overnight care, private walks if someone needs that, I can give medications to any dogs that need medications, dog sitting, I can help with a special needs dog, and feeding.
