Overall I think it's a 4 star due to the simpler things I list in con. He checked my chimney and told me it was clean and ready to go so didn't charge me its inspection fee. The dryer air duct needed major help. I had not cleaned it in 15 yrs (what... I didn't know) and we had a mouse using it as his home. He cleaned, vacuumed, and installed the new vent pipe. super quiet, quick, and good. Pro: On time, responsive, heard my concern, informed me well, quick, clean and efficient use of time. con: he didn't wipe his shoes or had a cover on them so now I have wet shoe prints on my floor. He was however good to not walk on my carpet with those shoes:) He didn't pick up garbage after him and he didn't put the sliders under the dryer as i asked him.

Eli is very knowledgeable and professional. I had issues with smoke coming into my rental home and he came for the inspection, explained everything to my tenants they really liked how informative he was. He also called me to explain by phone and made it easy to pay remotely. I'm not sure what happened with the other reviews on here, I had a great experience and I recommend Cozy Chimney. Thank you.

Gave this person a 10am - 2pm window Didn’t get a call until 1:42pm saying “im wrapping up a job and will head right over, will be there at 3pm” We tried giving them a chance even though they had 2 star review, we wouldn’t have mind if they were late being that happens. But not calling or texting and only giving us a heads up 15 minutes before the appointment window is just not professional Communication is key

Dear Diego, as we explained over the phone, if you're scheduled between 10-2 it means the technician will call you between those times to provide a more precise arrival time. The technician did call you before 2pm and provided a precise arrival time. Normally, we'd arrive sooner and we're sorry you had to wait, unfortunately the previous customer had more concerns than was originally anticipated and the technician has to address all the customer's questions before he moves on to the next customer. This large window is provided for the sake of the customer to make sure that the technician has enough time to address each customer's questions and concerns. Thank you.

We unfortunately did not end up hiring this company due to the incredibly negative experience we had with the technician. He was very unprofessional, condescending, dismissive, impatient and rude. He made offensive comments, constantly interrupted and spoke over us while we were talking. When asking him questions and going over our options, he stated that we were not his only clients so we need to quickly make a decision as we were wasting his time. While discussing with my husband, he interrupted, saying he did not want to work with us. I requested the form with our information back then he demanded we tear off his contact information on the form. When I called the company to share my experience, they apologized, stating he was simply having a bad day because he is human and isn’t perfect.
