FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have graduated from yoga teacher training and am a registered yoga teacher under the National yoga alliance. For continuing education I love to attend yoga workshops to sharpen up my practice. I also like to take yoga classes regularly (with me as the student!). I also hold a CPR/first aid/AED certification.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I make lessons very convenient by meeting my student's at their home. This allows you to be comfortable in your own space, and saves you a lot of time. I like to outline a workout routine for them and address whatever major goals/needs they have (for example: tight hamstrings, ankle injury, bulging disks) and then we will work that into a general yoga flow. I am also available for any questions or help my students may need along the way. Let's work together towards your better health!
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I would say look at their certifications first, this gives you a very general idea of what kind of experience they have. They should have a 200 RYT (Registered Yoga Teacher) certification or even better a 500 RYT, etc. You can also ask them who their teacher was or where they trained. Then do a little research about their yoga teacher and/or yoga school. That will tell you a lot.
