- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
At Aced It! Cooling & Heating, our pricing is structured to be fair, consistent and transparent. We use upfront flat-rate pricing for repairs and installations. You'll know the investment before any work begins, and it does not change if the job takes longer than expected. Our service call fee covers our time, expertise, travel and a thorough diagnostic evaluation. This ensures you receive a complete system assessment and clear solutions — not guesswork. If you move forward with a repair, the diagnostic fee is applied toward the work performed.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
At Aced It! Cooling & Heating, our process is designed to make everything feel clear, organized, and stress free from the first call to completion. When you call, text, or book online, we collect key information about your home and system so we can send the right technician to you. We review any service call fees upfront so expectations are clear. Our trained service technician arrive ready to listen. We take time to understand your comfort concerns, system history, and long-term goals before beginning a full system inspection. They will perform a thorough evaluation of your HVAC equipment, airflow, ductwork, and safety components. We gather readings, photos, and system data to ensure we're addressing the root cause — not just the symptom. After the inspection, we present straightforward repair options. We explain what we found, what it means, and all paths forward so you can confidently choose what fits your home and budget. If you feel that repairs are not the best route we then set up a consultation visit to go over replacement solutions. Once approved, we move forward efficiently. Many repairs are completed that same day. System replacements or upgrades are scheduled with permits and compliance is handled properly. We remain available at anytime before, during or after for questions and ongoing support.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
At Aced It! Cooling & Heating, education and technical training are foundational to the way we serve our customers. Our founders began as service technicians in the field — diagnosing, repairing and installing residential HVAC systems throughout Southern California. That technical background shapes how we approach every home. One of the owners is a U.S. Marine Corps Veteran, bringing discipline, accountability, and high standards to our operations and customer care. We are certified by the National Comfort Institute (NCI) in Duct System Optimization, Air Balancing, and System Performance. Our technicians also hold EPA & NATE certifications, demonstrating verified technical competency. We conduct weekly team trainings and regularly attend manufacturer-led classes to stay current on evolving HVAC technology, efficiency standards, inverter driven systems, refrigerants, rebates, advanced diagnostics, airflow design, and California code compliance. The result is a team that combines experience, structure and ongoing education to deliver high-level workmanship and long-term system performance.
