About
Hi, I’m Joshua Siderman. I’m originally from Marin and recently graduated from UC Santa Barbara with a degree in Communications. I’ll be continuing my education at UC Irvine. I’ve been working with my hands and building things since I was younger, and furniture assembly is something I’ve genuinely enjoyed. For the past two summers, I’ve gained hands-on experience assembling furniture through TaskRabbit, working with a variety of pieces and learning how to approach each job carefully and efficiently. I take pride in being dependable, paying attention to the details, and making sure every job is done right. Whether it’s furniture assembly or general handyman work, I aim to provide quality work and a great experience for every customer.

FAQs
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I keep pricing simple and transparent, and I’ll always go over and agree on the full price with you upfront before starting the job.
For jobs in San Francisco, there may be an additional $27 transportation/parking fee to cover the cost of getting to the job. If a specific job requires me to purchase hardware or materials, that cost will also be discussed with you and paid for by the customer.
There are no surprise fees. Any additional costs will always be communicated and agreed upon before the work begins.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I start by learning a little more about what you need and what you’re looking to get done. From there, I’ll provide an estimated time and price so you know what to expect upfront.
Before the appointment, I’ll also check in about any details that can make the job go smoothly, such as how to access the location, where you’d like furniture placed, what you’d like done with any trash or leftover materials, and any other specific preferences you may have.
I’ll arrive prepared, complete the work carefully, and make sure everything looks good before wrapping up. I’m always happy to communicate throughout the job and make adjustments based on what you need!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have several years of hands-on experience with furniture assembly, household tasks, and general handyman work. I’ve spent the past three summers completing furniture assembly and other task-based jobs through Taskrabbit, and I’ve been working with tools and doing hands-on projects since I was a kid.
Through this experience, I’ve learned how to work efficiently, follow instructions carefully, troubleshoot problems, and handle a wide variety of furniture and household projects. I also have over 27 five-star reviews on my Taskrabbit account, reflecting my focus on quality work and making sure customers are happy with the finished job.
