I’ve been taking lessons with Jason for a couple of years now, and have left every lesson with a smile on my face. Jason is a wonderful person, musician, and teacher. He’s always tailoring the content to match my interests and enthusiasm. I’ve really enjoyed going into music theory with him. He cares about his students and their enjoyment and saris of the lessons. I’ve recommended Jason to friends and will continue to recommend him.

I ended up having to cancel the guitar lessons previously arranged with Jason. It was a bummer on my part, Because I had truly wanted these lessons. Jason was very understanding. He refunded my money, although he didn’t have to. I’m looking to reschedule him now.

Only 1 lesson so far but Jason is a very good teacher, very knowledgeable and likable. I thoroughly enjoyed the time and would very highly recommend!! Definitely going to continue.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When a guitarist begins lessons with me I aim to teach them songs and techniques that are familar to them based upon the music they enjoy. After the comfort zone has been set we simply and slowly grow our ability to play.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I’ve been teaching guitar and music theory for over 30 years. For me, I wanted to understand music at an early age. The process usually begins when we fall in love with a song. Learning how to play the songs we love is a lot of fun!
