Marina helped me to lose weight and keep it off. I feel great! She really listened to what my “hot buttons” are and coached me on how I could eat some of the foods I craved and stay away from those I can’t seem to eat without excess. I have ignored the emotional triggers that caused me to eat certain foods. Marina helped me to be more mindful about the mind body connection and be prepared for them during certain family events. - What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I usually offer a free 20 min consultation over the phone to get to know each other and see if it's a good fit. Then if you decide to hire me my hourly rate is $95, but if you sign-up for a 3 month program which includes bi-weekly sessions (up to 1.5 hour each) with e-mail or texting support in between then the price is $150/month. Change happens overtime, you have to make a commitment.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Before our first session I ask a client to fill out a health history questionnaire where the client will identify the challenges they are currently experiencing and want to work on. During the session we would discuss what kind of support the client prefers and we agree on the pace and accountability. I will guide the client to set up the achievable goals and we will create a step by step plan. There is no one size fits all, each client has unique and I will work with you based on your values and preferences.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I completed Master degree program in Health and Wellness Coaching at Maryland University of Integrative Health with the concentration in nutrition and have extensive training in functional medicine.
